Become a Member of the IBG
The IBG’s aim is to create an attractive programme of events for its members that offers new scholarship and considers key aspects of publishing practice. It organises a bi-annual conference to which all members are invited. In addition, IBG members able to acquaint themselves with current publishing issues through meeting experts in the field, such as (in the past) Felicitas von Lovenberg (Piper Verlag), or Grusche Juncker (Goldmann Verlag).
Members will receive the Yearbook Kodex free of charge. The membership fee supports all of the IBG’s programme activities, and contributes to the research awards for young book scholars.
Membership in the IBG
The IBG welcomes both individual and institutional members.
The current annual membership fee is 50,-€ for full members, and 25,-€ for student members. For further information, please contact the IBG office.
IBG membership is bound to the calendar year, and can be terminated by letter, addressed to the IBG office. After receipt of the written notice, a confirmation of the termination of membership will be issued.
